Jennifer Kane Waterway concentrates her practice on marital and family law and related litigation. She handles a wide range of matters including dissolution of marriage, alimony, child support, distribution of assets and debt, parenting plans and timesharing, child relocation, paternity, dependency cases, domestic violence and related injunctions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-judgment modification, contempt, and enforcement, among others. Ms. Waterway also serves as a guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem for children in need.

Ms. Waterway has extensive litigation experience, particularly handling family law matters. She worked at a well-known Boca Raton law firm for several years prior to starting her own practice where she focused on family law and represented clients at all stages of proceedings, including trials and appeals.  She participates in many organizations and regularly serves on committees, particularly those connected with The Florida Bar, Family Law Section, and the Broward County Bar Association.

Ms. Waterway began her career litigating at top South Florida law firms including Akerman Senterfitt representing sophisticated corporate clients in product liability, mass tort, and commercial matters in state and federal courts across the country. Her clients included manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, construction equipment, luxury yachts, and other high-profile products, providing her with aggressive and extensive litigation and courtroom experience. Prior to working in the private sector, Ms. Waterway served as a judicial law clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she handled civil, criminal, and marital and family law appeals.
